Great ideas always find their way out but unfortunately, these days, many of them are left forgotten in some drawer because someone has a interest in keeping them forgotten. See for example all the options we have for replacing fuel but those that are making money from oil have no interest in replacing it. The same happens with many other things...
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('28779','catalin','Great ideas always find their way out but unfortunately, these days, many of them are left forgotten in some drawer because someone has a interest in keeping them forgotten.
Hmm. Interesting. You're right. It's just theoretical at this point. But I wouldn't say "just." Theoretical is where we come up with the ideas that may/could/might change the world.

I guess I'm glad Einstein, Edison, Salk were able to see things that weren't there yet.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('28448','Gina Chen','Hmm.
You may be absolutely right, but I for example can't explain something that it isn't really there yet. Maybe after seeing a pattern yes, but for now it's something just theoretical.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('26717','catalin','You may be absolutely right, but I for example can\'t explain something that it isn\'t really there yet.
@catalin -

Yes, artisanal can have many meanings, but that's why I'm explaining what I think it means. Sure, someone else can think it means something else. Not sure the point there.

As far is it needing to be on a large scale to be understood, can't agree there. The whole point of artisanal news in my mind is isn't large scale. It isn't one-size fits all. It isn't mass medium.

It's targeted. It's individual. It's small batches. And, I believe, if done well can pay when seen collectively.

Thanks for sharing.

The term "artisanal news" can have lots of interpretations and I really don't think we can explain very clearly because the it isn't used on a large scale in order to truly understand it.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('26360','catalin','The term \"artisanal news\" can have lots of interpretations and I really don\'t think we can explain very clearly because the it isn\'t used on a large scale in order to truly understand it.'); return false;">Quote
