I “subscribe” to more than 50 blogs, and what RSS does it gives me a neat list of all the post from all those blogs. It looks like a big list of headline. The ones I haven’t read yet are in boldface. That makes it super easy for me to scroll down, read headlines and decide whether it is a post I want to read.

“It reminds me of when my kids argue that one of them got more ice cream than the other, and I warn them: Life isn’t fair; you might as well learn that now.”

I remember Dad trying to lay that on me once — I told him, “maybe not — but as human beings, we try to make things as fair as possible.”

And you can encourage this by having one child scoop the ice cream into two bowls, and the other child gets to pick their bowl. Believe me, the ice cream will be measured with scientific accuracy.
